Enclosed is a copy of a Notice to the Profession by the Honourable Edmond P. Blanchard, Chief Justice of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada.

Henceforth, documents filed at the Registry shall not include any personal identification number pertaining to a party whose matter is the subject of a proceeding before the Court.

A personal identification number includes, amongst others, a social insurance number or any other administrative or employment number that is specific to an individual.

The Registry will not accept any document containing such information for filing, unless otherwise directed by the Court.
