Practised law in Vancouver, British Columbia with McCarthy Tétrault, 1982-1990 and Thorsteinssons 1990-1999. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division and ex officio member of the Court of Appeal, January 21, 1999 and Judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, March 18, 1999. Appointed to the Federal Court of Canada, Appeal Division November 4, 1999. Since July 2, 2003, the date of the coming into force of the Courts Administration Service Act, she is now Judge of the Federal Court of Appeal.
