Practice of law with Blois, Nickerson, Palmeter & Bryson, Halifax 1974-1984. Appointed a judge of the Family Court of Nova Scotia, February 6, 1984. Appointed to the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia, Trial Division, October 6, 1989. Appointed a justice of the Supreme Court, Appeal Division, June 24, 1992 and to the Nova Scotia Court of Appeal (on creation) January 30, 1993.
