Admitted to the Law Society of Upper Canada in 1985. Consultant to Law Reform Commission of Canada, 1984-88; Counsel, Department of Justice Canada, 1988-89; Sole practitioner, 1989-97; Executive Legal Officer of the Supreme Court of Canada, 1997-2002; Associate Executive Director, National Judicial Institute, 2002. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division and ex officio member of the Court of Appeal, December 12, 2002 and Judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, February 20, 2003.
