Born August 30, 1940, in Saskatchewan. Education at University of Saskatchewan. Called to the Bar in 1965. Served as Crown Prosecutor in Saskatchewan, and litigation counsel with Tax Litigation Section of the Department of Justice, Ottawa. Served as Director of Edmonton Regional Office of the Department of Justice. First female judge to be appointed to the District Court of Alberta in 1975. Appointed to the Court of Queen's Bench of Alberta in 1979, and to the Alberta Court of Appeal and Court of Appeal, Northwest Territories, in 1963. Former member of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the Canadian Judges Conference. Appointed judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, June 7, 1990.
