Counsel, Federal Department of Justice, Civil Litigation Section, Ottawa, 1974-1980. Established law firm in Ottawa, 1980-1986. Counsel, Perley-Robertson, Panet, Hill and McDougall, Ottawa, 1986-1989. Reestablished his law firm in Ottawa, 1989-2001. Chairman Bi-National Panel under Free Trade Agreement to hear an international trade dispute, 1993. Appointed Judge of the Federal Court of Canada, Trial Division and ex officio member of the Court of Appeal, July 31, 2001. Appointed Judge of the Court Martial Appeal Court of Canada, September 20, 2001.
